The Challenge
21 contractors. Crypto funds. No fiat pipeline.
Airchains had built a 21-person team in India spanning engineering, operations, and senior leadership, Backend, Frontend, App, and Blockchain Developers alongside roles like Managing Director, Head of Global Operations, and VP of Global Sales. The work was running. The team was in place. Getting them paid was the problem.
All of Airchains’ funds were held in crypto assets. Every contractor needed fiat, in Indian Rupees, deposited directly into their bank accounts. There was no internal system to off-ramp crypto, convert to INR, and move money at speed. With contractors at that level of seniority and scope, payment delays weren’t something the team could absorb.
They needed someone to own the entire chain, off-ramp, convert, process, deposit, without errors and without hand-holding.
The Solution

Gloroots took on the full payment workflow. Starting from Airchains’ crypto holdings, Gloroots off-ramped the funds, converted to INR, and transferred to each of the 21 beneficiaries’ accounts.
Beyond the payments, Gloroots owned the invoice setup for every contractor. Each cycle ran with a clean paper trail: invoices in order, funds reconciled, and transfers completed within 2 to 4 hours of initiation. That window covered everything, off-ramping, conversion, transfer, and final deposit.
Gloroots also set up contract management for the key positions Airchains needed locked in: Managing Director, Head of Global Operations, Technical Director, Vice President of Global Sales and Partnerships, HR Manager, and the full tech build spanning backend, frontend, app, and blockchain development.
