Position Overview

You'll lead the development of scalable web applications that power global workforce management across 140+ countries. You'll drive critical projects from concept to production while balancing hands-on coding with architectural ownership. You'll mentor junior engineers and ensure systems scale reliably as the platform grows to serve companies worldwide.

Role & Responsibilities

Lead design and development of complex, scalable web applications using MERN stack
Drive architectural decisions and establish engineering best practices for performance and security
Own end-to-end delivery of critical projects from planning through deployment and monitoring
Collaborate with Product, UX, and DevOps teams to deliver user-focused features
Guide and mentor junior engineers while fostering a culture of continuous learning
Define and track engineering metrics including uptime, latency, and code quality

Must Have Criteria

6+ years of full-stack web development experience with deep MERN stack expertise
Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript for production applications
Deep understanding of microservices architecture and distributed computing patterns
3+ years experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and Docker containerization
Experience with production monitoring, logging, and alerting systems
Experience leading technical teams and mentoring junior developers

Nice to Have

Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or ELK stack
Open-source contributions or technical blog posts demonstrating thought leadership
Experience optimizing GCP infrastructure costs and implementing security best practices
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
