Position Overview
You'll architect and implement comprehensive security solutions for an AI-native private cloud platform that transforms enterprise infrastructure management. You'll secure multi-tenant Kubernetes environments and implement zero-trust architecture across hybrid cloud deployments. This role offers high ownership in building enterprise-grade security from the ground up at a well-funded deeptech startup with global reach ambitions.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive security architecture for multi-tenant Kubernetes platforms
- Develop and maintain zero-trust security policies using OPA Gatekeeper and Kyverno
- Architect container image scanning, signing, and supply chain security workflows
- Implement and manage secrets management systems and workload identity solutions
- Conduct threat modeling and security assessments for cloud infrastructure components
- Build security observability and incident response capabilities for production systems
- Harden bare-metal Kubernetes clusters and implement firmware-level security controls
Must Have Criteria
- 6-12 years of experience in cloud infrastructure and platform security engineering
- Deep expertise in Kubernetes security including RBAC, NetworkPolicies, and Pod Security Standards
- Strong Linux internals knowledge with hands-on system hardening experience
- Production experience with OPA Gatekeeper or Kyverno for policy enforcement
- Hands-on experience with container image scanning and signing tools (Trivy, Cosign)
- Experience securing multi-tenant cloud platforms in production environments
- Proven ability to threat-model complex distributed systems and infrastructure
Nice to Have
- Bare-metal Kubernetes deployment and security experience
- Experience with BMC/IPMI and firmware security implementations
- Background in building cloud-provider-like platforms or infrastructure services
- Prior ownership of security for major production launches or platform migrations
- Experience with HashiCorp Vault and advanced secrets management architectures
