Position Overview
You will spearhead robotics software development that powers autonomous construction robots delivering 5x faster execution and 250%+ margin expansion. You'll design robot manipulation algorithms, motion planning systems, and navigation frameworks that redefine AI-driven construction robotics. You'll lead development of scalable solutions while working with a talent-dense team from top global institutions.
Role & Responsibilities
- You develop robust general-purpose robotic manipulation modules for construction environments
- You implement advanced algorithms in ROS2 including real-time control and manipulation systems
- You design behavior trees and decision-making frameworks for autonomous robot operations
- You integrate perception and control systems for seamless autonomous robot functionality
- You build and maintain simulation environments using Isaac Sim for system validation
- You lead development of advanced algorithms for robot navigation and control in construction sites
- You collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable robotics solutions
Must Have Criteria
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, AI, ML, or related field
- 5-10 years of experience in robotics, manipulator systems, and control systems
- Expertise in motion planning algorithms for 6DOF manipulators
- Proficiency in creating ROS2 drivers with hands-on experience in MoveIt2 and Nav2
- Strong programming skills in Python and C++ with extensive ROS experience
- Experience with simulation environments like Isaac Sim for robotics development
- Proven ability to lead technical teams in fast-paced startup environments
Nice to Have
- PhD in Robotics or related field with research publications
- Experience with construction industry applications or harsh environment robotics
- Background in computer vision and perception systems for robotics
- Open source contributions to robotics frameworks or libraries
