Position Overview

You'll build and scale the Django-powered platform that manages global workforce operations across 140+ countries. You'll work on critical systems handling payroll, compliance, and employee lifecycle management. You'll collaborate with a dynamic team of 20 in a fast-paced startup environment that prioritizes customer needs and values transparency.

Role & Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable Django applications with Django REST Framework for global HR systems
Build robust REST APIs using DRF for frontend applications and third-party integrations
Implement asynchronous task processing using Celery for payroll and compliance operations
Design and optimize PostgreSQL database schemas for high-volume international operations
Deploy and manage applications on AWS infrastructure with proper monitoring and scaling
Write comprehensive tests and maintain high code quality standards
Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical architecture decisions

Must Have Criteria

3-8 years of professional Django development experience
Strong experience with Django REST Framework for API development
Hands-on experience with Celery for background task processing
Proficiency in PostgreSQL database design and query optimization
Experience deploying and managing applications on AWS
Knowledge of version control systems (Git) and collaborative development workflows
Understanding of web security best practices and data protection

Nice to Have

Experience in fintech, HR tech, or payment processing systems
Knowledge of AWS services like EC2, RDS, Lambda, and S3
Experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture
Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements in financial systems
Previous startup or fast-paced environment experience
